Sanctuary

Sanctuary

EOS 7D : 28-135mm3.5-5.6 : 28mm : 1/80 : ISO 3200 : f/3.5 : Manuel : No Flash

This was taken during a Eternal practice. In the foreground is a music stand with “Sanctuary” printed on it (I did that) and in the background is Dayan of “Eternal.” I wanted to capture a stage view going out in to the crowd. However since there was no crowd during the practice I decided to frame my picture so it would look up and make the ceiling and lighting part of the background. I decided to add Dayan to give more of a sense of a live performance. I shot this picture with a 28mm-135mm lens on a crop sensor so I was maxed out on my wide end and really wanted more.

I plan to go back and re-shoot it with my 16-35mm 2.8L one of these days, just to get that wide feeling!
