Oceanside Peir

EOS 350D : EF-S 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 : 18mm : 2.5 sec : f/3.5 : ISO 400 : Manuel : No Flash

Every once in a while in need to just get out of the house. I always take my camera with me. This particular day I decided to head down to the beach. I was already around 8pm so I knew I missed the daylight but thought it would be a good opportunity to take some long exposures. This happened to be my favorite picture of the night. The sun had been down for at least an hour but there was still a little bit of light on the horizon and with a longer shutter speed and a bit of brightening in photoshop really made the sky pop compared to the piers lighting.
